People usually love tracking poles until they break their wrist or wake up with a sore wrist after a day’s hike. They cause overloading of the elbow joint, inflammation of wrist tendons, tearing of the thumb joint, overloading of the wrist joint. Healthy people under 70 do not need to use them when walking at all. But everyone has to figure that out for themselves. It’s just marketing and how to make money from monkeys. Mine ended up in the trash after 30 km, when I found out what causes it in the body when under load. But unfortunately this is not selling well on YT.
