We’re back with another tackle storage review. We need to update these every year because there are ALWAYS new products hitting the market and we’re constantly changing the way we use new and old gear to fit our needs. Whether it’s new kayak setups, new product innovations or we’re changing the way we fish, there is always a new way to manage tackle.
Let us know what you’re using, what we missed or what we need to check out for 2024!

What are your favorite tackle solutions?
I bought the Plano edge boxes about 5 years ago for fresh water – they stored great on my Ranger bass boat – i still have them – but today I’m into surf casting in South Florida – I just spent $400 on Buzbe so far – they are tanks
This was very well done and extremely helpful!
Had a ozark trail backpack that carried 4 3600 boxes, had a cooler on top (i just used it for soft plastic storage and water bottle storag) and featured two rod holders. I honestly loved that bag. The rod holder held my ultra light which was clutch. Id still have it but it got stolen out of my car. Now i use something much more simple, just a free sling bag i got at a nabcep conference. I miss the ozark trail bag, mostly for the rod holder. Now i just prioritize one rod for the day. The bag was around $50 and came with two tackle boxes.
I have a fishing backpack and I have used whatever plastic totes fit in all different configurations to figure out what I like best for me you can use other tackle boxes that will fit and even lunch boxes just to try and use every inch of space as long as it fits why not
