There are several updates to Talon 22 over the years. Some to avoid .So all bags even within the brand are not necessarily equal. Had I would have known that the earlier models did not have the better backing I would have probably passed on the getting the older 22 and got any stratos 24.

I just got the osprey 22l and still can’t figure out where the hydration pack goes??
I’m an Osprey guy so i prefer the Talon 22 for a hydration day hike. I also have an old Osprey Raptor 14 hydration pack for when i bike. I dunno if they make the raptor anymore? 🤷‍♂️
